"Serve one another in the beauty of holiness"
Working with the
Hospitality Guild is a wonderful
opportunity to meet new friends while
reaching out to both parish and community.
The guild provides most of
the opportunities that we enjoy as a parish to get to know
each other and develop fellowship within the parish.
It is responsible for organizing receptions that complement
our liturgical life, Lenten dinners, funeral receptions,
coffee hour following the Sunday masses, the parish ball,
and other events from time to time. The guild also
provides leadership in ministering to shut-in parishioners,
and assisting the rector with writing notes to, and,
contacting visitors to mass each week. They also
coordinate "Mass Mentors" who offer to sit with and assist
visitors with navigation through mass. All this is a
tremendous task and help is always needed.
If
you believe hospitality might be a ministry in which you are
interested, please contact
Dee Gauss and Michael Westman the
coordinators of the Hospitality Guild who always welcome
your cooperation and assistance to provide the parish with
these important opportunities for fellowship and evangelism
that are so vital to our parish life.
