The Church of the
Advent is a community composed of a diverse group of
people who have come to the Anglican faith along a number of
different paths. If you are curious about learning more about
either Christianity in general or Anglicanism specifically, we
have an inquirer's class each fall. We also have various groups
and forums which gather throughout the year to
explore their faith,
whether by being involved in seasonal programs or regular bible
study.
Being new to a church can be overwhelming at times. There are so
many things happening and so many new people to meet that it is
hard to know where to start. At COA, we love to welcome new
members into the parish! We offer regular functions specifically
for
newcomers
to gather with members of our community in fellowship. All are
welcome at the various parish functions held throughout the
