Who Are Episcopalians?

 
 

An Episcopalian is one who belongs to The Episcopal Church.  The Church is made up of between two and three million worshipers in about 7500 congregations across the United States and related dioceses outside the US.

The Church of the Advent is a member parish of The Episcopal Church, which is how the Anglican Church in America is commonly known.

Springing from the Church of England, Anglicanism is one of the historic Christian faiths of the world, which means we believe in the historic tenets of catholic Christianity.  Other faith traditions in this same vein are the Roman Catholic Church and the Orthodox Churches. More...
